ENSURING the bridge is safe is great news (A438 in Herefordshire to close for bridge works, July 12).
But that stretch of road between Dormington turn off and St Michael’s Hospice turn, or thereabouts, is deplorable with potholes and too rough a surface.

In fact, the whole road between Ledbury and Bath Street Hereford could do with being checked for numerous potholes.

WITH regard to the imminent closure of the A438 Ledbury to Hereford road which effectively cuts off Dormington from public transport (online: A438 in Herefordshire to close for bridge works, July 12).
