Ms Wall also became managing director and joint owner of the Loo of the Year Awards, after having been an entrant for many years with her own toilet company.

Ms Wall started her luxury mobile toilet company A Plush Flush with her husband and has been trading for 19 years.

The inspiration for the company was born from Ms Wall’s previous career as an events organiser, where she would have to hire mobile toilets which were often in a very poor condition and would have to be thoroughly cleaned.

It was after many miserable mobile toilet experiences that her own niche company came into fruition. She bought two trailers, equipped them with clean, beautiful toilets and has never looked back.

Debbie Gilbert, organiser of the Best Businesswomen Awards, said: “This is the 10th year of these prestigious awards, and despite tough trading conditions businesses have faced over the past few years, these businesswomen have powered forwards.

"Our judging panel, all business experts, were impressed by the quality of the entrants. All our finalists are incredible examples of successful female entrepreneurs who have proved their success to our judges.”

Ms Wall said she is both “excited and nervous” about the awards but feels very privileged to be chosen.

“It’s such an honour to have been recognised and listed as one of the finalists alongside many amazing female entrepreneurs within the UK and I am looking forward to the gala event to celebrate and meet many of these ladies," she said.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Hilton Syon Park in London on October 11, 2024, when the gold winners of each category will be announced.
