A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been up before a court after breaking a restraining order.
Adam Smith pleaded guilty to one count of breaching a restraining order and one count of failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offenders register when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford this month.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that the 29-year-old had contacted a woman he was banned from contacting or visiting by a restraining order on November 6 last year.

The restraining order was imposed by a judge at Worcester Crown Court on July 27, 2021, the court was told by the prosecutor.
Smith, of Dry Thistle Close, Bromyard, has also failed to comply with conditions of the sex offenders register, which requires all registered sex offenders to notify certain personal details including changes to name, date of birth or address to police officers.
The magistrates adjourned Smith’s sentencing and ordered a pre-sentence report to be prepared by probation services ahead of the next hearing in August.
