THE family of a Herefordshire man who tragically died earlier this month have made an emotional plea for help.
Ryan Blackwell, who was from Hereford, died on July 4. He was 33 years old.
Now, his family are asking people to help them raise the funds to pay for his funeral.
Mr Blackwell worked as a factory operative before his death and was a big lover of dogs.
Mr Blackwell's sister Jayde Brown said: “My brother died suddenly on July 4, 2024. He was selfless, thoughtful, kind and will be missed by everyone who knew him. We as a family are deeply shocked and devastated by his sudden passing.
“His loss was unexpected and as such we were not prepared for the cost of the funeral and arrangements.
“I would like to raise money in honour of my brother. I am asking for donations to help cover funeral expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, would help us cover the costs of the funeral and provide him with the farewell he deserves.
“We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of kind words and sympathies during this difficult time. Your support truly means the world.”

So far, Miss Brown’s Go Fund Me page has raised over £1,000, surpassing the halfway mark of her £2,000 target.
In an update on the Go Fund Me page, she said: “Thank you to everyone who has donated or shared the fundraiser. We have achieved the initial target of £1,000.
"Words fail to describe how grateful we are.”
