It can be difficult to keep finding activities over the summer, but Herefordshire Museum Service is promising a fun programme of activities this summer.
The Cat and Mouse About the House-themed activities are taking place at the Black and White House Museum until September 1.
Cat and Mouse About the House trail
The Black and White House Museum is offering a self-guided adventure through the historic building for families to explore whilst looking out for the mice that have joined whilst the cat is missing. This fun trail is available for all and is included with museum admission.
Make a mouse workshops
Children can create their own felt mouse to take home in free workshops held on Wednesdays, 7, 21, and 28 August, from 1pm to 3pm. Whilst there is no need to book in advance, please note that parents and carers need to stay with their children during the activity.

Dress up in replica costumes
All the family can take the opportunity to experience history by dressing up in costumes from the 1600s. Visitors of all ages can delve into the past and learn about daily living in the Jacobean era.
Under 16s with a paying adult and students (with ID) get free entry to the museum, located in Hereford’s city centre, all year round.
For £3.50, everyone else is able to explore, and ground floor access only, costs just £1.50 and a £10 adult annual pass is available for those wishing to investigate further.
