THE summer holidays are in full swing... and it's not just the kids that need keeping busy!
With plenty of warm weather in the county at the moment, here are a few ideas for things to do if you have a few days off.

Situated in Hoarwithy, this beautiful stretch of the river Wye is ideal for anyone looking to spend a sunny day in the water. Ideal for any level of experience, canoes are available to hire from two to five hours.
Suggested routes along picturesque stretches of the river are available, but customers can also plan their own route, with plenty of advice available for eateries along the way.
Battlelands Paintball, based in Ewyas Harold in the Golden Valley, offers different packages for groups to participate. For those under 11, a version called Splat Master is available.

They describe their game zones as “unique” and “challenging” with games such as capture the flag and protect the president available. For customers looking for even more of a thrill, paint grenades and smoke can be added.
If you’re feeling a need for speed this summer- this outdoor karting experience will be for you. With events available to hen and stag does, corporate events, and birthday parties, whatever event you’re planning- this could be for you.
Offering a 600m tarmac circuit, and twin-engine karts, the course is highly rated. Based in Weobley, the track is open from Wednesday to Sunday, and prices start at £25 per person.
Numerous outdoor activities and a glamping site are tucked away in Kingsland, amongst 175 acres of woodland.
With the option to explore the lands on a quad bike or zip wiring, there’s something for everyone who has a thirst for adventure.
Birthday parties, team days, or family outings are all welcome. Pre-booking of their unique glamping sites are also available, with two woodland glamping villages available for between 10 and 120 people.
