Organisers of Leominster Food Fayre have been granted a licence to hold it next month in the town’s Etnam Street car park, given the ongoing improvement works in the nearby Corn Square, its usual venue.
The licence issued by Herefordshire Council permits the event to run for one day only, Saturday September 7.

The car park, south of the town’s main public open space The Grange, already hosts regular farmers’ and food markets, “proving that the location is tested and suitable for this type of event”, the council added.
Organised by Leominster Town Council, the not-for-profit food fayre will showcase around 40 local food and drink producers to townsfolk and visitors, along with live entertainment and children’s activities.
It is free to attend and runs from 9am to 3pm.
