Crews were called to Mowbadge Lane, Peterchurch yesterday afternoon after reports that a man had fallen down a 30ft embankment.
Calls were made to the Fire Service at 1.37pm yesterday, after a man had become trapped in the embankment.
In a recent Facebook post, Peterchurch Fire Station have said that they, along with a crew from Eardisley Fire Station, were called to the scene after returning from a large fire yesterday morning.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said that they were contacted by the fire service, and attended the incident in Peterchurch with an ambulance, including two paramedics.
A Midlands Air ambulance from Strensham also attended the incident, with a doctor and further paramedics on board.
West Midlands Ambulance Service have said that with help from the fire crews, the man was safely rescued from the large embankment.
The attending paramedics provided trauma care to the patient, who sustained serious injuries, before he was transported to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
