Get ready for a roar-some, Jurassic treat as Hereford’s Dino Days return for 2024.
Following the "massive" success of the Dino Days in previous years, on August 17 at the Old Market and August 24 at the Hereford Cathedral, the dinosaurs will be returning from extinction at 11am, bringing with them a host of fun-packed free activities and shows before heading home at 3pm.
This year's many activities feature a dinosaur stage show, a dinosaur jungle photo and augmented reality experience, dinosaur walkabouts, live music, digging for dinosaur bones and crafting. A dinosaur picnic meal deal boxes with free children's toys will also be available, but only on August 24.
In this year's dino trail, one lucky dinosaur fan could be in with a chance of winning a £50 Hereford Gift Card in the prize draw. Pick up or download a trail map, visit each location to find the information, and take the completed entry form to the Hereford Tourist Information Centre (TIC) for a chance to win a gift card and pick up a small prize until August 31.

Mike Truelove, Hereford BID chief executive officer, is “so excited to bring the dinos back to Hereford again this year”, guaranteeing “even more fun with additional attractions and activities”.
“We are also very proud to provide a free event and hope to encourage families to spend more time in our beautiful city and enjoy the activities over two weekends,” said Mr Truelove.
“Lots of our BID members are involved, offering dino picnic meal deals with a free toy, leaflet pick-up points and locations on our trail, as well as participating in the event on August 24 at the cathedral”.
“We are proud to be working so closely with our BID members and great local organisations, including Hereford Cathedral and Old Market, to make this summer extra special.
“Keep an eye out for the dino tracks!”
