A HEREFORD man has been let off completing unpaid work after breaching his community order.
Jack Aston Thomas Sims admitted one count of failing to comply with the requirements of a community order when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford earlier this month.
The court heard from the National Probation Service that the 30-year-old had been made subject to a community order by magistrates in Hereford on April 23.
But, the magistrates were told, Sims had, without reasonable excuse, failed to show up at two probation appointments on June 9 and July 7.

Magistrates removed the requirement to complete unpaid work as part of his community order, but told him he must attend up to two days of rehabilitation appointments with the probation service for rehabilitation activities.
Sims was last in court for a string of assaults in Hereford, and in April he pleaded guilty and was sentenced for three counts of common assault, one count of assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm, and one count of harassment and breaching a restraining order on conviction.
Sims, of Hylidae Road, Hereford, was not ordered to pay any court costs by magistrates.
