Two men have been arrested after a man was stabbed at a south Hereford barbers this morning, with police appealing for witnesses.
Police have said that the incident took place at Best Trim Barbers on Belmont Road between 10.45am and 11.15am, with a 37-year-old man receiving several stab injuries to his arm.
The update follows the barber shop near Asda being cordoned off today, with a police presence being seen.
Police have arrested one 36-year old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and a 40-year-old man for obstructing police and assisting an offender.
The victim's injuries are not thought to be life threatening, however they are currently receiving medical treatment.
Detective constable Philip Harvey of Hereford Police said: “We understand incidents of this nature can be alarming, but we would like to reassure members of the public we believe this to be an isolated incident.
“We are appealing for any witnesses that were in the vicinity of Best Trim, or the entrance to Asda supermarket in Belmont, Hereford, between these times that may have witnessed this incident or anyone else who can assist us with our enquiries to come forward.
