A VANDAL has been ordered to pay hundreds of pounds to a housing association after causing damage.

Andrew Jones entered a guilty plea to one count of causing criminal damage valued under £5,000 when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster this month.

The court heard from the Crown Prosecution Service that the 22-year-old had intentionally or recklessly damaged a double-glazed UPVC window pane unit belonging to Platform Housing in Ledbury without lawful excuse on October 19 last year.

The court heard that Jones intended to destroy or damage the unit.
