A WOMAN in her 70s has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Hereford city centre.
Emergency services were called to Blackfriars Street outside the Premier Inn at 12.45pm on Friday (August 30) after the woman was hit by a Honda Jazz.
The woman was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, West Mercia Police said.
The police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident to get in contact with them.

Blackfriars Street was closed for several hours after the crash on Friday, with police tape condoning the street off near the Premier Inn and three police cars parked in the road.
A police spokesperson said at the time: "We received a call with a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Blackfriars Street. The female pedestrian has been taken to the QE Hospital in Birmingham with injuries. Officers remain at the scene to establish the circumstances and manage traffic."
