I refer to Peter Day from How Caple’s letter in the Hereford Times of August 29.

I, too, had a similar ‘unhelpful’ response from Connexus Housing. For at least five years I have been requesting that my very small disabled parking space in a communal parking area at Leasown, Burghill, be extended slightly to allow both me, and a neighbour’s large vehicle, which parks next to my car, from violating the dividing line between us, thus making it difficult for me to reverse into the tiny (not fit for purpose) disabled bay. Therefore, I don’t venture out as often as I’d like to!

The response from Connexus Housing was, in effect, “not our problem”! The gentleman at Connexus then suggested I contact Herefordshire Council by phoning the main council switchboard number. No mention of who to direct my email to or who to speak to! And he certainly didn’t offer to redirect my email to the relevant department to assist me, which would have been easy to do.

Talk about frustrating! “Not my problem” seems to be the norm, these days.
