POLICE were called to a crash on a road near Hereford.

Officers rushed to the scene on the B4399 in Holme Lacy this morning (September 6).

West Mercia Police confirmed that two cars had been involved in a crash on the road.

A spokesperson said: "We received a call around 7.50am this morning with a report of a collision on the B4399. Officers arrived at the incident to find two vehicles involved. Thankfully, no injuries to report."

Google Maps reported slow traffic in the area earlier this morning, which has since eased.

Also this morning, there has been a crash on the A438 in Willersley, with police confirming that one car had overturned.

As of 11.30am, heavy traffic remains in this part of the county with the road having earlier been closed at Bredon Junction.
