A Dragons Den star has won thousands for a local charity on a popular Saturday night TV show.
Long-serving TV personality and entrepreneur, Deborah Meaden took to the ITV show tonight (September 7) to take part in the hilarious challenges.
The show sees celebrity contestants attempt to work out catchphrases based on different animations. In order to win the game, the celebs need to buzz in their answers as quickly as they can, and say what they see in a chance to win the money.
Deborah was joined by fellow contestants, Olympic gold medallist Denise Lewis, and actor, Kevin Whately, competing to win up to a £50,000 prize for their chosen charity.
Shortly before winning the prize, Meaden explained that any money won would be going to the Marine Conservation Charity, which is based in Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire.
When the host asked what made her want to get so involved with the environmental charity, she explained her long-time passion for climate change and the environment, and that it's something she's "always been concerned about".
Meaden walked away with an impressive £7,500 for the Ross charity. With her fellow contestants wins, the show raised £13,200 for three charities.
