The court heard that the 45-year-old, who was not present at the hearing, had entered a train at Leominster for the purpose of travelling to an undisclosed location, but did not have a valid ticket entitling her to this travel, contrary to railway byelaws. The incident happened on June 7.
Todd, who is of Farmeadow Road, was fined £220 for the offence and ordered to pay compensation of £7 for the cost of the ticket.
She must also pay prosecution costs of £100 and an £88 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
