A HUNT has been launched for two men in a black BMW after "significant damage" was caused to cars in a Herefordshire car park.

Items worth tens of thousands of pounds were also stolen, revealed police community support officer Kirsten Kysow of Ross-on-Wye's safer neighbourhood team.

The offences took place at Ross-on-Wye Golf Club in Gorsley on Friday, September 13, said PCSO Kysow, with the offenders striking three cars in just a 20-minute window from 7pm and 7.20pm.

PCSO Kysow said the offenders had entered the cars by drilling their locks, causing significant damage.

Power tools and golf clubs were taken from the vehicles, with the total value of all of the items taken totting up to around £34,000.

PCSO Kysow said officers believe there were two offenders who were driving a black BMW 3 series estate with a tow bar on the rear.
