DISRUPTION has continued on a major rail route from Hereford.

West Midlands Railway, which operates services from Hereford through Ledbury and Colwall to Worcester and Birmingham, made the announcement today that services between Hereford and Birmingham will be disrupted due to a fault with the signalling system.

The train company announced that due to the fault, unfortunately some lines are blocked, and services may be delayed or cancelled. Engineers are said to be on site currently and are attempting to fix the problem.

Disruption to the line between Hereford and Birmingham has continued after a shortage of train crew yesterday led to rail replacement buses being put out.

Trainline is currently showing that some trains to Birmingham from Hereford have been cancelled, and some are currently showing as delayed.

Rail replacement buses will be operating between Hereford and Worcester Foregate station, and replacement buses are now also in operation between Hereford and Great Malvern.
