I BELIEVE the rejection of this plan is the best thing that happened to Brimfield village in recent times (End of road for 23-homes scheme for village, September 12).

This development made no sense, its location was a danger to motorists and pedestrians with no acceptable solution to solve very real risks due to the layout and accessibility of the site.
Water discharge was also a major grey area in the developers plans. The parish council were very supportive of the village communities objections and we thank them for that.
