HEREFORD businesses and facilities will remain closed today (September 21) after flooding hit the county.
Floods caused chaos on Friday as heavy thunderstorms arrived in the county, with roads disappearing underwater in parts of the county including Hereford, Ross-on-Wye, and Ledbury.
The flash floods caused major issues for many commuters as they battled through the rain to get home after work on September 20.

Autosport Models and Collectables
One Hereford city business has confirmed it will be closed today after the "great Perseverance Road flood".
Autosport Models and Collectables, in Perseverance Road in the Holmer area of the city, said the flooding means it will be closed on September 21, while its Batman Day event will be postponed to next Saturday.
Batman Day promotes and celebrates the famed comic book character.
While the first Batman Day was held July 23, 2014, the year of the 75th anniversary of Batman's first appearance, it is now held on either the third or fourth Saturday in September.
The Hereford model and collectable shop will now offer its planned 20 per cent discount on their DC and Marvel superhero range on Saturday, September 28.
Holmer Park
Another business in the Holmer area, Holmer Park Spa and Health Club, said it will be closed today after flooding closed the business yesterday afternoon.
In a statement on its website, a business spokesperson said "Holmer Park will remain CLOSED this weekend and we hope to reopen on Monday 23rd as normal. Further updates will be provided."
Leisure Centre
And Hereford's Holmer Road Halo Leisure Centre will be open today, but a number of activities will be off-limits.
In an update shared this morning, a Halo spokesperson said: "We’re pleased to announce that the centre will re-open from 9am today. However, please note that not all facilities will be available."
Reception, the cafe, gymnastics, squash, toning, Studio 1, golf, and the cycle track will be open from 9am.
But the gym, JumpInGym, sports hall, changing rooms, and athletics track will be closed for the entire day.
The centre's planned Big Open Day event today will not be affected and will carry on as scheduled.
