Openreach has apologised to residents in Leominster after some have been left without internet for over a week.
After what appears to be a mass outage across most providers in some of the market town, many residents have been in despair with their providers over the ongoing situation.
Speaking to the Hereford Times, a spokesperson for Openreach has now said that they are working hard to fix a fault in Leominster that's affecting broadband services for some local households, in what has turned out to be a "complex fix".
“We fully appreciate and apologise for how disruptive this is for people living there, and we’re doing everything we can to get things back to normal, as quickly as possible.
"It’s a complex fix but we’re currently working on it, and hope to have a further positive update later today," they said.
Sarah Davies, one of the local residents who has been affected by the outage, has previously said she's been forced to use her neighbour's internet in order to continue working.
"It's a sad state in this day and age when you can't even get the internet," she added.
Ms Davies previously said that her children, who are both in high school, have been unable to complete some of their homework due to the sudden inconvenience.
