Strictly fans will be thrilled to know that a competing couple has revealed their second dance, but viewers will have to tune in tonight to see the judge's reactions.

Chris McCausland, a former Hereford student and now comedian and Strictly Come Dancing star, and his dancing partner, Dianne Buswell, have revealed their dance of choice for tonight's performance.

The pair will be dancing the foxtrot to the song Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy by the Tams.

Hosts, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be welcoming the couple back to the dance floor, and while they’re all still hoping for high scores from the judges, they are also, for the first time, dancing for your votes from home.

Recently, McCausland revealed in an emotional video on Dianne's Instagram page that he was "terrified" before the performance on Saturday (September 21), which saw the couple take to the dancefloor to perform the Cha Cha Cha to the Beatle's Twist and Shout.

In the video diary entry, he explained how he was "very emotional" and was "so overwhelmed with relief and emotion at the end of it".

Having previously told host Claudia Winkleman last Saturday that he did not think he was allowed to say how his nerves were pre-watershed and that he had his waterproof underwear on, McCausland put on an incredible performance, receiving a standing ovation.

The 47-year-old comedian, originally from Liverpool, lost his eyesight in his early 20s as a result of retinitis pigmentosa, a hereditary condition. This diagnosis prompted a career change from his previous job in web development to become a comedian.

McCausland studied at the Royal National College for the Blind in the mid 90s, and even returned in 2022 to mark its 105th anniversary with a show at the Courtyard in Hereford.

He is known to television audiences for his role as Rudi in the CBeebies show Me Too, and regularly appears at comedy venues around the UK, including the Comedy Store.
