A celebrity chef made an appearance at an Old Market restaurant yesterday, after a busy day in the city.
Celebrity chef and acclaimed cookbook author Rick Stein popped into the Beefy Boys yesterday, and the BBC star was snapped next to one of the restaurants founders, Anthony 'Murf' Murphy.
Murf had the pleasure of sharing the team's top burger tips and handed Mr Stein a copy of their newly released cookbook, The Beefy Boys: From Backyard BBQ to World-Class Burgers.
Yesterday (September 26) Stein visited the city centre book shop, Rossiters, to sign copies of his new book, Rick Stein's Food Stories.
Speaking exclusively to the Hereford Times yesterday, Stein said: "It's really nice to be in Hereford. In fact, I haven't been here since I was at prep school in Malvern and I cycled over via Ledbury to the cathedral.
"It's very nice to be back. I've always thought it's a great city and, indeed, back here today, I realise how great it is."
Stein was at the bookshop in Church Street from 12.30 pm yesterday, attracting huge queues of fans determined to meet the star.
Copies of his book are available to buy from Rossiter.
