Passengers planning to travel on a main rail route from Hereford may need to rethink their plans, as major disruption is expected.

West Midlands Railway, which operates services from Hereford through Ledbury and Colwall to Worcester and Birmingham, announced today that services between Hereford and Birmingham will be disrupted over the weekend due to an anticipated shortage of train crew.

"Due to an anticipated lack of available traincrew at key locations across our Snow Hill lines & Worcester - Hereford routes over the weekend, we are unfortunately expecting disruption to train services," the statement said.
