A Leominster bakery has officially baked its last batch today, after 68 years in the business.
Central Bakery announced that it had shut up shop for the final time today, in an emotional announcement on its Facebook page.
Queues formed outside the West Street bakery this morning, with customers desperate to get their hands on some of the delicious pastries for a final time.
In an emotional video posted to their Facebook page, the team announced that they had officially closed, adding:
"Thank you so much to everyone for the last 68 years. We love you.
"I will write more later when the emotions have cleared…..but for now farewell Leominster from all of us".

The video message thanked customers for their continued support over the years, and the shop's "amazing staff".
The bakery originally announced its decision to close in early August, adding it had been hard and emotional for the team, after being in the same family for three generations.
At the time of the announcement, the bakery added that rising costs of ingredients and utilities had contributed to the decision to close the business. It also cited the dwindling footfall they have experienced due to the development of Leominster High Street and Corn Square.
