PLANS for a home swimming pool and gym have been submitted to planners in Herefordshire.
Plans submitted to Herefordshire Council reveal the applicants want to demolish a lean-to and build an extension to house a pool, alongside creating an annexe, home office, and garaging at The Orchards in Bosbury, near Ledbury.

A planning statement submitted with the application said the owners want to extend and remodel an outbuilding at the property.
The new extension would house a swimming pool, plant room, gym, and changing room, while the remainder of the building would be remodelled to house the annexe, office, and garaging.
The outbuilding sits some nine metres from the house, the statement said, and has been used for garaging, annexe accommodation, and storage.

Under the plans, the garaging, gym, pool, annexe, and pool facilities would be on the ground floor, while the upstairs would house the home office, accessed by the existing staircase.
The outside of the extension will be painted brick to match the existing building, but with two pairs of sliding doors on the east and south-facing elevations for ventilation, the statement said.
Comments close on the application on October 16.
