An alumnus of a Herefordshire college has been taking the Strictly dance floor by storm, and has revealed his favourite part of last week's performance.
Chris McCausland, who attended the Royal National College for the Blind in the mid 90's, has been waltzing through the series so far, along with his professional dancer partner, Dianne Buswell.
Today (October 10) host Janette Manrara welcomed the duo to the Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two, and the pair revealed all of their emotions following the past few weeks of performances.
The pair discussed their most recent performance, which saw them dress as characters from the movie Wayne's World.
McCausland said he loved dressing up, and putting a wig on for the performance, adding it helped to "feel like you're in the character".
Manrara quizzed Buswell about how she manages the timing and coordination of dances with the comedian. The seasoned Strictly pro said she plays to McCausland's strength of having excellent musicality, and makes sure to incorporate by adding "lots of fancy footwork".
However, it hasn't all been easy for the duo. McCausland revealed that they're both "covered in bruises" from all the lifts and tricks of their dances.
The pair revealed that they will be dancing the salsa to the hit song, Down Under by Men at Work on Saturday.
The 47-year-old comedian, originally from Liverpool, lost his eyesight in his early 20s as a result of retinitis pigmentosa, a hereditary condition. This diagnosis prompted a career change from his previous job in web development to becoming a comedian.
He is known to television audiences for his role as Rudi in the CBeebies show Me Too, and regularly appears at comedy venues around the UK, including the Comedy Store.
The pair will be returning to the dancefloor this Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
