A MOTHER and daughter who work at St Michael's Hospice celebrated great success at the Hereford Times Health and Social Care Awards.
Melanie Woodhouse and Becky Tolley were honoured at the awards last night (October 3), where they won the palliative or end-of-life care award for their work at the hospice, as well as the biggest award of the night, the outstanding contribution to health and social care in Herefordshire award.
Other winners of health and social care awards included the Herefordshire Men's Mental Health Group which provides a safe, non-judgemental space for men experiencing or recovering from mental health issues, and Holmer Court Care Home, which was celebrated for its "kind, calm and happy staff".
The award categories included ones for carers, GPs, nurses, mental health professionals and oral health professionals.
