A man has been arrested following an incident at a Hereford college this afternoon.
West Mercia police have said that that they were called to Herefordshire and Ludlow College on Folly Lane following a report of a man carrying a bow and arrow.
The police force have said that they believe it to be and isolated incident.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "A man has been arrested this afternoon (4 October) following a report of him carrying a bow and arrow at Herefordshire and Ludlow college, Folly Lane in Hereford.
"We believe this to be an isolated incident, and officers will remain in the area to offer reassurance to students, staff and the community."
