A BIKER has spoken out about a crash on a muddy Herefordshire road, describing the conditions as "deadly".
The A4112 between Kinnersley and the Weobley junction was closed at around 4pm today, with Herefordshire Council saying "the amount of mud on the road led to unsafe driving conditions".
Neil Gillam, a motorcyclist who was travelling on the road in a group with other bikers, says he crashed his bike after slipping on the mud. He described the conditions as "deadly".

He told the Hereford Times: "My brother-in-law and myself both crashed on our motorbikes due to the state of this road. We are not local and were out for a ride at lunchtime.
"The road was deadly. We came around the corner and saw some mud on the road but all of a sudden the road disappeared into mud. We all slowed down to five to 10 miles per hour but the road was horrendous.
"The front end went from beneath me, the rear went on my brother-in-law and his bike spun around.
"There were no warnings about mud and there was no option to turn around. We got to the police a little further down and flagged them down.
"We were injured but thankfully not badly and both have damaged bikes."
The Hereford Times has approached West Mercia Police for comment on this incident.
