This Government cannot be described as “socialist”. The last Government cut the warm home discount. Following in their footsteps, this Government has cut the winter fuel allowance.

Many of us have been categorised as the “undeserving poor”. Meanwhile, energy prices has gone up again, standing charges have spiralled out of control and energy companies seek to “advise” customers how to run a budget and make savings. I don’t deserve to be cold, robbed or patronised.

Fortunately, I’ve had the last laugh. For the first time, I didn’t vote Labour in the election. I voted for the Green Party, which won the seat in North Herefordshire.
Our Green MP represents my views, promotes progressive policies and does not support the “Labour” plan to rob the poor to pay the rich.
