A BUSY Hereford city street will close later this month for roadworks.
A notice published by Herefordshire Council said the council has made a temporary road closure order under its relevant powers as highway authority to temporarily prohibit vehicles from using Hereford's Hinton Road.
The closure, which will be in place between the Welsh Club at the A49 Ross Road junction end of the street, and Hinton Crescent, will come into force on October 21, the notice said.

Hinton Road is often used as a cut-through by traffic heading from the Ross Road to Hereford's Holme Lacy Road.
Herefordshire Council said the closure is required as gully raising works need to be carried out and there is a likelihood of danger to the public while the works are being carried out.
These are works to improve drainage.
The council said the works are expected to be completed within one day.
