A HEREFORDSHIRE woman has pleaded guilty to possessing an illegal weapon after she was caught with pepper spray.
Rosie Brown, 40, of Biddulph Way, Ledbury, was caught with a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of a noxious liquid, namely capsaicinoids in August last year.
She had originally been told to be at court on April 23 for the matter to be heard, but did not attend the hearing.
She entered guilty pleas to one count of possessing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid and one count of failing to surrender to court bail at the appointed time.

Brown pleaded guilty to a further charge of causing assault, ill-treatment, neglect or abandonment of a child to cause unnecessary suffering.
Prosecutor John Dove said that Brown was carrying the weapon without the authority of the Secretary of State in Ledbury when she was caught last August. She was then released from custody on bail in criminal proceedings to appear in court in April. She had also caused unnecessary suffering to a child.
Brown, who was represented in court by Patrycja Szymanska, has now been remanded on unconditional bail again ahead of her sentencing later this month.
