A BUSY Herefordshire road will be closed for up to two weeks later this month.
The C1130 between Whitestone and Bartestree will be closed to traffic between Whitestone Business Park and Sheepcote Lodge, Bartestree, from October 21, a notice published by Herefordshire Council has revealed.
The busy road is used by many motorists to cut from the A4103 to the A438 and vice versa.

Herefordshire Council said a temporary road closure order has been issued for the stretch of road to allow private sewer installation works to take place, and due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the works.
The works are expected to be completed within two weeks, the notice said, with a full closure in place while they are taking place.
A diversion route will be in place for those affected by the road closure, with traffic to be directed along the A4103 Hereford to Worcester road, onto the C1148 Stoke Edith road, and onto the A438 Hereford to Ledbury road and vice versa.
