A Herefordshire law firm is celebrating, after being shortlisted in two categories in a prestigious national competition.

Lanyon Bowdler, who has offices in Bromyard and Hereford, has been shortlisted for two commendations in the annual Personal Injury Awards.

The awards aim to recognise the excellence of law firms and the individuals behind them across the personal injury and medical negligence sectors, and the Herefordshire firm are now in the running for the Claimant Team of the Year and Outstanding Case of the Year categories.

Winners of the coveted categories will be announced at a gala evening in Manchester on November 28.

Lucy Small, acting head of Lanyon Bowdler’s medical negligence team, said the firm is delighted to be shortlisted for the categories. 

“It recognises our position as a well-respected legal firm and is a particularly pleasing achievement because the judging process is always extremely thorough.

Dawn Humphries, head of Lanyon Bowdler’s personal injury team, added that the awards look for a firm's demonstrable commitment to, the needs of catastrophically injured clients and their families.

"Achieving the maximum level of compensation is vital to ensure day-to-day needs are met both now and particularly in the future.”
