A HOMELESS man from Hereford has been fined by magistrates after admitting breaching a community order.
Jamie Lee Ellis, of no fixed address, appeared before Hereford Magistrates’ Court on October 1.
The 33-year-old admitted breaching a community order made by Hereford Magistrates’ Court on January 24 by failing to attend probation appointments on July 9 as well as August 6.
Magistrates fined Ellis £50. He was also ordered to pay costs of £30.
His community order will continue.

This year, Ellis has been convicted of various offences, including stealing from shops, using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and assaulting an emergency worker by beating.
He has been said to have a “previous record of stealing” and this year was also given a suspended sentence after a shoplifting spree in which he targeted eight shops. The stolen items from his haul came to a total value of at least £820.60.
