The premises, in School Lane in Leominster, have been put on the market by agents, Jacksons, who describe the terraced commercial building as a good investment property.

The premises were previously home to Mousetrap Cheese, a small Herefordshire chain which supplies quality cheeses from the county and beyond.

In April of this year, the shop made the difficult decision to shut its doors, citing the cost of living crisis, and reduction in footfall.

The remaining Mousetrap shops are at 30 Church Street, Hereford, and 6 Church Street, Ludlow.

The premises itself is situated just off Corn Square and is described as a grade II listed, freehold property which is comprised of a ground floor shop area, separate first and second floors, including a one bedroom flat.

The commercial area benefits from being double-fronted and contains a kitchenette area with relevant amenities. From the rear of the shop, there is also access to a small cellar.

To the side of the shop, there is a right of access through an enclosed passageway to the rear of the property where the front door of the flat opens to a hallway with a staircase leading up to the first floor.

The upstairs accommodation includes a kitchen and good-sized living room, with further stairs leading to the second floor, which boasts a bathroom and a double bedroom.
