An event due to be held at Hereford Racecourse this evening has been CANCELLED after part of the equipment has been submerged in floodwater.
Circus Zyair was due to perform at the racecourse this evening, but in a Facebook post today announced that it would not be going ahead.
"Some sad news to report - due to the area around the circus big top currently being underwater we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel today's performance.
"This is not a decision that we take lightly but the safety of our performers and customers will always come first.
"If you had tickets for tonight's show then these will now be valid at either the 5 pm or 7.30 pm performance on Friday 18 October. You do not need to do anything else except arrive 30mins prior to your preferred performance time."
The circus company added that ticketholders who have any queries are welcome to get in contact, and thanked everyone for their patience and understanding.
