Passengers planning to travel between Hereford and Shrewsbury may need to find alternative transport this evening, after the service has been cancelled.
Transport for Wales has said that all trains running between Hereford and Shrewsbury have been cancelled after the rail line has been heavily flooded.
They reported that Network Rail has advised them that heavy rain has flooded the popular line in the Wem area.
They have advised passengers to not attempt to travel between Hereford and Shrewsbury in both directions, as there are "no trains running".
The major rail company added that alternative road transport would not be provided this evening, due to flooding on local roads.
However, passengers needing to find an alternative route can use their ticket at no extra cost on unaffected rail lines.
