Fire crews are attending to a flooding incident in a Herefordshire market town this evening, after a busy day of downpours around the county.
Crew from Herefordshire and Worcestershire Fire and Rescue Service have been at Wigmore Street in Leominster, attending flooding incidents in the area.
The emergency services response comes after a hectic day of torrential rain and severe flooding around Herefordshire, with a yellow weather warning and several flood alerts now in place.
Currently, a Met Office yellow weather warning for rain remains in place for the county until 9pm tonight (October 16), with warnings of the heavy rain leading to some disruption.
Flood warnings remain in place for Dulas Brook at Ewyas Harold, the River Arrow in Kington, and the River Arrow in Pembridge.
Flood alerts are in place for the River Wye in Herefordshire, the River Frome, the River Leadon catchment, and the River Lugg, both north and south of Leominster.
