SCHOOLS across Herefordshire have confirmed their reopening after they were closed by flooding.
A number of schools in the county were closed on Wednesday (October 16) after heavy flooding hit roads and homes across Herefordshire.
One school, Peterchurch Primary School, has confirmed it will be closed for the rest of the week after firefighters were called to pump water out of the building.

But several others have this morning confirmed they will be open to pupils.
Here are all of the closures and confirmed reopenings on OCTOBER 18:
Peterchurch Primary School: CLOSED
Leominster Ivington CE Primary School: CLOSED
The school and pre-school are closed today Thursday and tomorrow Friday due to flooding on-site and surrounding areas. We anticipate to be open on Monday 21st October.
Earl Mortimer College and Sixth Form Centre: unconfirmed at 6.30am. Expected to reopen
