A busy Hereford road is to close overnight for TEN days, for resurfacing works to be carried out.
The overnight closure is planned for Barton Road, which is just off the busy junction of Victoria Street.
The road near the city centre will be closed from Thursday 31st October 2024 to (and including) Saturday 9th November 2024, between 19:00 and 06:00 each night.
However, there will be no work taking place on the road between Friday 1st November to Monday 4th November.

The signed diversion route will be via Westfalling Street/ Wordworth Road/ A438 Whitecross Road/ Eign Street/ A49 Victoria Street North/ A49 Victoria Street South and vice versa
In a letter published by Herefordshire council, they said they will make "every effort" to provide vehicular access to properties, but there may be times when it is not possible.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you. At Balfour Beatty we are working in partnership with Herefordshire Council to minimise the impact of our work and aim to keep disruptions to a minimum - we appreciate your patience."
