A FLOODED Herefordshire school will not reopen on Monday, it has now been confirmed.
Peterchurch Primary School was one of a number of schools in Herefordshire to close as floods hit the county on Wednesday.
Many had closed their doors as roads surrounding them became impassable, but in Peterchurch the school itself was badly hit, with firefighters called to pump water out of the building.

A school spokesperson previously said that they hoped to reopen the school on Monday (October 21), after the school was forced to close due to extensive flooding of the school building, and after advice from the fire service.
And now, a spokesperson has confirmed, the school will be closed longer than hoped.
"Due to the flooding of the school, despite the efforts of staff and external teams, we will not be ready to open on Monday, October 21," a spokesperson said.
A second county primary, Ivington Primary School, has also been closed since Wednesday after suffering flooding.
