Tens of THOUSANDS of pounds of items were stolen from a Herefordshire golf club this morning (October 18).
West Mercia police have said that they are appealing for information after a burglary took place at Burghill Golf Club, at approximately 1 a.m.
Two unknown males entered the Golf Pro Shop, which is attached to the clubhouse, after forcing their way in through a rear window and shutter.
The force has said that CCTV shows the suspects wearing balaclavas and eye coverings, before taking off from the rural club with golf clubs, wedges, and putters valued at over £24,000.
The force has asked anyone who may have information that can assist enquiries to get in touch by calling 101 and quoting incident number 00040_I_18102024.
If you aren’t comfortable contacting the force directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org
