A HEREFORDSHIRE GP surgery has been named practice of the year in the Hereford Times Health and Social Care Awards.
Ryeland Surgery in Leominster and Bodenham was handed the GP practice of the year award, recognised for its "dedicated and well-trained staff".
The GP practice of the year award recognises a GP practice in Herefordshire that stands out for the level of care provided.
The prestigious awards, which took place on October 3, 2024, at Hereford Racecourse honoured individual and team accomplishments and recognised excellence in the health and social care sector.

Receiving the award on behalf of the rest of the surgery, Eleanor Brooks-Owen and Izzy Lane said: "It's lovely to be nominated and to have won. We would like to thank our entire team."
Ryeland Surgery was said by those who nominated it that staff "genuinely care" and that GP partner Crispin Fisher is a "model" of how a GP should operate.
