This is a reader's letter published in the Hereford Times on October 24.
I read recently that our MP Ellie Chowns is to give away £10,000 of her salary to three charities, one of which is the Green Party.

Might I suggest that we tax payers who ultimately pay her salary don’t expect our money to be used to support a political party, especially one we haven’t voted for.

I have written to Ms Chowns three times since the election and have not even received an acknowledgement of my letters.
Perhaps she should use part of her salary to pay for administrative help in dealing with her correspondence. That might benefit us all.
