This is a reader's letter published in the Hereford Times on October 24.
I am in awe of the ability of Herefordshire Council to plan.
Having built a lovely new road past the station in Hereford, they have carefully blocked off the middle third of it and belatedly planted some very expensive trees in tubs to make sure traffic can’t move on the road.
ALSO READ:
- Why this Herefordshire bridge WON'T be getting traffic lights
- Herefordshire alcoholic weeps in court after drink-driving
- BIG changes are coming at this Herefordshire cider firm
Then they have installed three sets of uncoordinated traffic lights within a short distance of each other by the station instead of far more efficient roundabouts to slow down traffic even more, especially traffic needing fast access to the hospital.
What are your thoughts?

Letters should not exceed 250 words and local issues take precedence.
Finally, they have arranged a bus stop outside the new medical centre for the free electric bus, so that when a bus stops there traffic is even more blocked.
I wonder what brilliant plans they have next!
