Fire crews rushed to a Herefordshire home, after a blaze broke out nearby, and four animals were inside the property.
Fire and Rescue Service crew from Ewyas Harold were called to a property in Didley on Monday (October 21) at around 5.03 pm after reports of a fire, and descended on the scene to control the blaze and rescue the animals.
A blaze had broken out in a garage below a flat, with four cats inside the property at the time of the fire.

The blaze was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a hose reel jet. The property was checked using a thermal imaging camera and electrics and gas were isolated.
All animals were accounted for, There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required. The Fire Service added that the incident was then marked as pending closure at 6:37 pm.
