CHRIS McCausland has said he's "embarrassed" that his question to his partner Dianne Buswell was caught by his microphone after his latest Strictly Come Dancing performance.
The comedian, who previously studied at Hereford's Royal National College for the Blind, performed a moving waltz on Saturday night (October 19) alongside his professional partner Buswell.
McCausland, who is Strictly's first blind contestant, and Buswell performed to the Liverpool anthem You'll Never Walk Alone, in a nod to McCausland's beloved home city and football club.
But as the performance came to an end, their microphones picked up a sweet moment between them in which he asked Buswell: "Did I do good?"
Appearing on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two tonight (October 23), McCausland addressed the moment and said he was "embarrassed" that people heard him.
Imitating himself, McCausland said: "Do you think I did good, mummy?"
The duo were both pleased with their performance, saying they were happy with how it went and the results from the judges. They got a total score of 35 out of 40, and even prompted some teary reactions from the studio audience.

"We, together, are surprising ourselves," said McCausland.
This was despite him feeling terrified before going on stage, saying "I relapsed to a grey, pale representation of a human being."
McCausland and Buswell are performing a samba next week for Halloween.
